You can feel reassured and nurtured by a professional midwife who will take an interest in you and your baby during your pregnancy, whilst ensuring you receive all the necessary prenatal checks.

 

 Prenatal care

* Monitoring of fetal growth and hearing the baby's heartbeat, monitoring the mother's blood pressure and urine checks, discussion and analysis of blood tests and ultrasounds.

* Discussion of aspects for all prenatal testing (eg: Down's syndrome screening, Gestational Diabetes screening)

* Advice on nutrition, exercise and discomforts of pregnancy.

* Teaching optimal fetal positioning for easy labor. 

* Visits regularly throughout your pregnancy in your home.

* No need to travel to doctors offices and waste time waiting for your 5 minute appointment (appointments are between 30 mins to an hour)

*  Visits at a time that are convenient to you and your husband if you wish. 

*  My service includes telephone and messaging/Whatsapp advice when things come up, as they regularly do.

 

Postnatal care

* Postnatal care of you and your baby in your home

* Checking on stitches and blood flow 

* Nursing help and advice

* Mother wellness: looking out for signs of postpartum depression, emotional well being

* Baby wellness: weight gain, color, normal digestion, sleep and everything in between !

* Special healing and closing ceremony for after the birth (Closing the bones with Rebozo techniques)

Home Birth

Having a baby is such an important moment. You want it to happen in a clam and peaceful environment. If you are experiencing a low risk pregnancy and are interested in a home birth, please be in touch to see if we are a good fit. I bring a second midwife to attend the birth for added safety for you and your baby.

Prenatal Classes

I teach one on one classes according to the personal preferences of the mother and her partner. Options include a mini course for those short on time, day or evening classes at home of between 2-5 sessions and refresher classes for those having a second or more baby.  Please be in touch for more details. 

 

Teaching

 

I am constantly updating my repertoire of classes available for doulas and mothers. Please be in touch if you'd like me to teach a particular subject. Specialty class on VBAC secrets for mothers and doulas available in English and Hebrew.

* I give receipts, so you can get a refund from kupat cholim for many of my services.
